Full Description
Enclosure (angular).
NW corner of well-constructed, rectangular enclosure (?sheepfold), set on 3 degrees SSE-sloping, heather-covered hillside. From this point, the sidewall trends 157 degrees downhill for 18m, and at right-angles for 11m to the edge of a small burn in a deep gully. The walls, constructed of rounded cobbles, are up to 1m thick (NW) and 1m high (SW), and the NE wall is below the raised level of the interior and built on the steep gully wall. The SW side also retains the higher level of the enclosure interior. <1>
