Full Description

Grouse Butt.
Partially degraded grouse butt, standing in what is now a wet, bare peat area, with flowing water running past it to the W (see Plate 36). The remains of the probable leading wall in the S stand 0.6m high and 0.7m thick and the sidewalls are fairly collapsed. It is unclear exactly where the entrance is, but it may be in the NE. <1>
