Full Description
Axe reported from back garden of bungalow in Ord Place, where it backs onto the Ferrycroft Centre (c 1999?).
4.2003 the axe still held in the Centre, photographed by HAW. Probably local stone, so too hard for smooth polishing. Slightly irregular in shape and "cutting" edge not very thin c 7"" long (see scale on photos). - HAW 4/2003
