Single storey cottage w attics set across line of hill, with smaller extension at S end.
Planning App 03/120/FULSU to extend cottage to rear (ie uphill). Request to view foudations. Site visit as arranged 31/7/2003 nut nobody in for access. Narrow foundattion trenches dug along full length of rear, with spoil heaps in extensive garden to rear (although it should be noted that plant grown heaps across this garden suggests extensive earlier disturbance. From the ro al could see was the subsoil, strong yellow/orange sandy soil with cobbles. - HAW 8/2003
