Full Description
NH64NW 38 602 453.
Air photography has revealed two circular enclosures situated on this ridge above Kirkton. Both are c18m in diameter and are c250m WNW of Kirkton. That in the middle of the field has a sausage-shaped feature, c8m long, immediately inside the SW arc of the enclosure. (AP nos. 8904.10-14 held in Inverness Museum; see also archive.)
