Full Description

The 1st edition Ordnance Survey map (of c 1870) depicts a samll cottage with extension within a rectilinear garden enclosure. A second structure lies to the north-east of the cottage. Current OS mapping shows just one cottage and annotates the building as 'Newton of Leys'.

A planning application (IN-03-812) to extend and renovate the building required the provision of a Photographic Record. A series of photographs was taken of the structure and the general area prior to the start of the development. The photographs were taken by Iain Christie and are held in the Assoc. Docs file.
