Full Description

At NH 5287 1120, on a knoll, is a circular stone-walled hut measuring c.12.5m between the centres of a wall spread to c.2.5m. The wall appears to widen in the E to c.3.0m where a gap of c.3.0m is probably a mutilated entrance. An upright block in the W arc is an outer facing stone, but no others are evident. The wall has been robbed, probably to build two rectangular house foundations immediately to the south. There is no sign of contemporary cultivation plots, but the area is occupied by several depopulated house foundations with contemporary field walls and lazybed cultivation.
