Full Description

NH52NE 10 5970 2771.

At NH 5971 2770 on a S-facing slope is a denuded circular stone-walled hut, levelled into the slope and visible as a platform with a mutilated wall around the rim measuring c. 10.5m between its centres. The entrance is not evident.
The area is occupied by late cultivation including lazy beds which stop short of the hut, but several terraces and lynchets with an occasional denuded stone clearance heap are suggestive of cultivation contemporary with the hut.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
