Full Description
At NH 5995 3119 there is a circular stone-walled hut with field system. The hut is 12.8m overall diameter with a wall spread to c. 2.0m. Part of the outer face of contiguous upright stones and the rubble core are visible, but no inner face can be seen. The ill-defined entrance is in the E. The field system is comprised mainly of stone clearance heaps with occasional lynchets and field walls forming cultivation plots, one near the hut, measuring 20.0m by 20.0m.
Hut surveyed at 1/10,000 (Visible on OS air photograph AP 67.198.008). Visited by OS (N K B) 2 March 1970
