Full Description

A very rough stone axe, 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1", was found in 1965 in a fire break in Glen Hurich Forest, on a steep slope about 100 yards from the river. It was donated to Aberdeen University Museum.
A Small 1965.

There is no local knowledge of this find and nothing is known about it by the forestry workers. No further information.
Visited by OS (R L) 4 June 1970.
