Full Description
A three-compartment building, 26m in length and 4.4m in width internally, is situated to the S of Achvraid farmsteading. It may be the building shown as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet xliii). Beside a partially roofed building, also roofed on the 1st edition map, to the NW of this structure there is a horsegang, measuring 7.7m in diameter. The centre plate is visible and the slot for the drive shaft runs out to the W.
The 2nd edition of the OS map (Inverness-shire 1904, sheet xxxi) shows USN93 19 as partially roofed with the building to the NW also roofed but without the horsegang.
