Full Description
A walkover survey of an area to the northwest of Kingussie was carried out by RCAHMS in 1995 as part of their Afforestable Land Survey project. One of three discrete of cairns (see also MHG34369).
This dispersed group of at least twenty small cairns, which measure up to 4m in diameter and 0.4m in height, is situated on the heather-covered ridge to the NW of the Allt Gortan. Faint traces of what may be ridging are visible in a smooth patch of ground at the SE side of the group of cairns (NH 7248 0188).
