Five hut-circles are situated on a S-facing hillside within a felled plantation to the N of Croftbegg. Four of the hut-circles measure between 6.9m in diameter and 8.4m by 7m within stony banks spread up to 2.8m in thickness and 0.5m in height, with entrances on the SE or SSE. A substantial baffle wall, enclosing an area measuring 4.6m by 4.3m, protects the entrance to one of the hut-circles (KING95 432). The fifth hut-circle (KING95 433) is larger, measuring 10.9m by 8.7m internally, with what may be the entrance on the NNW.
The hut-circles are situated within a scatter of at least thirty small cairns (KING95 435), measuring up to 8m in diameter and 0.7m in height, which extend for at least 30m into the dense birch woodland that borders the SE end of the felled plantation.
