Full Description
This old bridge merely survives as remains of stone abutments on either side of the Allt Lagan a'Bhainne. A suspension bridge was built above it by volunteers in 1932, but, although concrete anchorages are still clearly visible, this has also gone. Embedded in the abutments of the old stone bridge are concrete foundations of the later bridge. Only the NW pier of the bridge remains.
J B Salmond 1938; J and A Baker 1982.
Visited by OS April 1964.
M Logie (Highland Council) 1997; NMRS MS 1007/4.
