Full Description
NH52NE 13 5792 2667 to 5795 2663.
At NH 5792 2667 ('A') and NH 5795 2663 ('B') are two circular stone-walled huts.
'A', exceptionally well-preserved, measures 14.0m in overall diameter, with the wall, 1.8m thick, showing a fine outer face of stones on edge and several inner facing stones. The entrance in the E is obscured by peat.
'B' is a platform set into a slope, edged by a few stones. It measures 9.5m in diameter. The entrance in the N is ill-defined.
'A' occurs just outside of, and 'B' within, a probably contemporary roughly rectangular enclosure marked by a ruinous wall and measuring about 70m E-W by 45m. There is no trace of cultivation plots.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
