Full Description

At NH 5999 2794 on a S-facing slope is a denuded circular stone-walled hut, surrounded by a small well-defined contemporary field system.
The hut measures c. 8.0m in diameter between the centres of a denuded wall spread to c. 2.5m . The SE arc is in poor condition. The entrance is not evident.
The field system is marked by stony lynchets, ruinous walls and occasional stone clearance heaps, one field below the hut measuring 60.0m x 30.0m, and it probably extended further to the W than it now appears into an area occupied by later cultivation including lazy beds. Hut surveyed at 1/2500.
