The remains of a military bridge are visible here, with grass- and heather-covered footings of abutments on both sides of the stream, according to OS (RB 5 January 1966). However, nothing was found of the remains of a bridge, as previously noted by the OS, so far as the observations of Logie (1997) are concerned.
