NH84NW 55 8390 4793.

This bridge, now consisting basically of ruined bridge buttresses, may have formed part of the earlier Wade road, now untraceable, through the hamlet of Achindown. A straight line drawn across the Cawdor Burn on a map of 1776 (Taylor and Skinner) suggests this as the site for an earlier bridge than the Achindown Bridge (NH84NW 56) existing at NH 8393 4799.
Visited by OS.
G Taylor and A Skinner 1776.
