NH85SW 31 from 8259 5000 to 8000 5263. MR 9 (formerly Lin 511).
The military road, having crossed the River Nairn, passes by Clephanton and then heads NW towards Ardersier in an almost straight line.

The military line is overlaid by the B9006. To the S of Clephanton the road crosses the River Nairn on an old hump-backed rubble bridge (NH85SW 24), known as White Bridge, at NH 8242 5022.
