A group of five huts and two stony mounds lies around the base of a rocky knoll at a bend in an unnamed tributary of the Allt Gheodrain. Three of the huts are subrectangular on plan, the fourth is defined by little more than an arc of stones, and the fifth comprises two adjoining cells in the shape of a figure-of-eight. The latter is situated on the W bank of the burn and measures 4.9m from N to S by 2.2m transversely within a stony bank 0.8m in thickness and 0.4m in height. An arc of inner facing stones can still be seen in the S cell. The two mounds are both tucked into the base of the crag and are probably also the remains of small huts.
(Canna 793-9).
Visited by RCAHMS (ARG), 9 April 1995.
