NG20NE 78 2600 0572, 2598 0573 and 2600 0571
A group of three grass-grown mounds and one circular hut are strung out along the base of a rocky knoll overlooking the gully of the Allt Gheodrain from the SW. The hut has been reduced to little more than a mound containing some loose stones; it measures 2m in overall diameter and has a dished interior. The mounds lie to the W (NG 2598 0573) and SE (NG 2600 0571 and NG 2600 0572) and are probably also the remains of small huts. Two of the mounds contain stones and are oval on plan, the larger measuring 7m from NW to SE by 5.5m. The third mound appears to be made up entirely of earth and measures 3m in diameter.
(Canna 807-810).
Visited by RCAHMS (ARG), 10 April 1995.
