A limekiln is depicted to the N of Shieldiag on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross and Cromarty 1906, sheet lvi). It is not shown on either the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1867, sheet lvi) or on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1989.
