Full Description

A farmstead, comprising a rectangular building and a small corn-drying kiln both set within a roughly rectangular enclosure measuring 120m by c.50m, was noted by J Wordsworth during a pre-afforestation survey. The building measures 17m by 4m. The ground to the N of the building has traces of rig but the formerly cultivated ground to the S does does not have any rig visible. <1>
