NH21SW 6.02 c.2433 1139.
This is the approximate site of the Aonach or Unach Inn, built in 1770 and used by Samuel Johnson in 1773. Johnson is quoted as stating that it was nine miles from Fort Augustus. Forestry activity has caused severe disturbance in the area.
