NN89SW 6 848 934.

Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) has revealed the remains of a township 170m E of Allt Choire Chaoil, and 350m SE of Carnachuin farmstead (NN89SW 4). At least ten unroofed buildings, and a kiln barn and field banks are visible on the edge of the improved land on the valley floor. These buildings are not depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheets ciii and cxviii) or the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
