Full Description

Military road heads east through Glencoe (W Taylor 1976) from (2)10000 (7)58810 to (2)14990 (7)57260. MR (military road) 26 (formerly Lin 504).

The military road is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10 000 map (1975) as traversing the River Coe on the 18th century bridge (NN15NW 8) at NN 1037 5894 and then heading SE through Glencoe, mainly on the same line as a modern road to the N of the A82(T). It then follows the same line as the A82 to the N of Loch Achtriochtan before taking the form of a track to the N of this latter road at NN 1470 5719.
