Full Description

NH63NE 36 674 378.

Centred at NH 674 378 and separated from NH 63 NE 31 by a wet gully are two ill-defined stone-walled huts (A and B).
Hut 'A' is circular measuring c. 9.0m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to c. 2.0m all round. The entrance is not evident.
'B', set into the E-facing slope of a rise, is oval measuring c. 11.5m NE-SW by c. 9.5m transversely between the centres of a wall spread to c. 2.5m all round. The entrance is not apparent. Outside the hut on the N is an earth-fast stone, probably a displaced facing stone.
In the vicinity of the huts are a number of stone clearance heaps, probably from contemporary cultivation plots, but details are obscured by deep heather.
Huts surveyed at 6" scale.
