Full Description

What may be a farmstead comprising one unroofed L-shaped building in an area of improved ground is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheet xxiii). One unroofed building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

A two cell stone built structure, most likely a house with attached byre, located near to Port Min Bay, with associated stone walls, rock shelters and field systems. The building appears on the 6 inch 1st edition OS Map and so dates to, at latest, 1876.

The site was visited and photographed by J Haylett in November 2011. <1>
