Full Description
NH63NE 9 6800 3545.
(NH 6800 3545) Two concentric circles with diameters of 20-22 ft and 37-40 ft formed of irregular boulders i.e. not flat slabs set on edge - are on a low knoll rising from boggy ground and may be the residue of a hut circle.
Information from A A Woodham to OS 9 August 1963.
This area was thoroughly perambulated but no trace of these circles or anything resembling a stone circle was seen. Many natural boulders etc. are scattered over the area.

The original 1963 description would fit a circular feature visible on vertical aerial photographs c.150m to the northwest (see MHG62536) [IS-L 17/02/2022].
