Full Description
This high arch single span stone bridge of unknown date has been superseded by the modern road and bridge.
M Logie (Highland Council) 1997; NMRS MS 1007/6.
In 2009 Forestry Commission Scotland commissioned C Shepherd to undertake a survey and assessment of those parts of the 18th century Military Road network crossing the National Forest Estate in Inverness, Ross & Skye, Lochaber and North Highland Forest Districts, in order to enable it to develop sustainable management strategies.
During the survey of Ratagan forest, this bridge was recorded and photographed. It was a high, single-spanned bridge, now isolated by the modern main road. <1>
