NH36SE. 18 3999 6226 to 3500 6365. MR 17 (formerly Lin 521).
Initially a service road is on the line of the military road. At Little Garve it crosses the Black Water on a military-type bridge (NH36SE 5) at NH 3964 6287) and a little further W the line appears to have been approximately that of the A832.

Although a route for the military road is marked on the current edition of the 1:10 000 OS map (1989), there are no notes available from the OS field investigation.
