Full Description
This square stone culvert is of recent construction.
M Logie (Highland Council) 1997; NMRS MS 1007/3.
In 2009 Forestry Commission Scotland commissioned C Shepherd to undertake a survey and assessment of those parts of the 18th century Military Road network crossing the National Forest Estate in Inverness, Ross& Skye, Lochaber and North Highland Forest Districts.
During the survey the stone springing of this culvet were noted to be possibly older than as previously suggested. However they were densely covered in heather and difficult to discern. <1>
