This square stone culvert is still functioning, although the stonework is crumbling and it is very overgrown.
M Logie (Highland Council) 1997; NMRS MS 1007/3.
In 2009 Forestry Commission Scotland commissioned C Shepherd to undertake a survey and assessment of those parts of the 18th century Military Road network crossing the National Forest Estate in Inverness, Ross & Skye, Lochaber and North Highland Forest Districts, in order to enable it to develop sustainable management strategies.
Although just to the north of Forestry Commission land, this culvert was recorded as a feature on the newly-recognised and confirmed stretch of military road (see MHG54610). <1>
