Full Description
'The gravel pit has a burial?'
Information from Major C J Shaw to OS 5 Feburary 1962.
Nothing was seen at this old gravel-pit and the adjoining quarry to substantiate Major C J Shaw statement.
Visited by OS (W D J) 4 September 1963.
There is a gravel pit at this location which has removed most of a glacial hummock. There were no signs of any burials or cairn.
Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 3 December 1992.
