NH63SE 7 6576 3466.

(Centred: NH 6576 3470)
'A' Long Cairn. 34 ft by 21 ft by 4 ft high. Aligned East-West.
'B' Long Cairn. 28 ft by 17 ft by 4 1/2 ft high. Aligned North-South.
'C' possible denuded long cairn 40 ft by 18 ft. Aligned East-West.
All have been used as field clearance dumps but seem to be, with the possible exception of 'C', authentic prehistoric cairns.

These three features are stone clearance heaps.

These are recent field clearance heaps.
Visited by OS (N K B) 10 March 1970.

At the edge of an improved field to the E of Midtown there are three large recent clearance heaps composed of boulders. There is nothing to suggest that they are of antiquity.
