A stone boundary dyke, which can be traced along the E side of the Allt Goirtein an t-Sailleir for about 1Km, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey on the Fassfern Estate. At the S end, the dyke crosses the burn and continues above the W bank. The dyke which is 0.7m wide and stands up to 1.7m in height in places, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1874, sheet vi).
