Two small possible pens, situated on a shelf on the SE side of Cnoc nan Rathag opposite and to the N of Blar an Tairbh, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Scourie and Foindle Common Grazings.
The smaller structure, which may be a lambing-pen, measures 2.5m by 1.8m within a drystone wall composed of large unquarried stones abutting a crag. At the base it measures 0.7m in width and it stands 0.3m in height. There is a possible entrance on the SW end, facing towards the second enclosure. Interpreted as a sheep-pen, this enclosure is situated about 18m to the SW. It is rectangular on plan, measuring 6m by 5m within 0.7m thick walls standing up to 1m in height on the W although much reduced elsewhere.
