The manse first appears on the OS 1:2500 c.1970 mapping and it does not appear on the OS 1:10560 map c.1960 giving a 1960's construction date. This is confused slightly by the RCAHMS record which contains the plans and elevation drawings, along with details of the railings dated 1911 in its collections. Either the OS survey of 1960 missed the manse, or the RCAHMS entry has been mis-dated or mis-indexed <1>.
