Full Description
(Central NH 6745 4555) An iron spearhead was found a depth of 2 1/2 feet, at Victoria Terrace, Inverness, in 1882, near the supposed site of MacBeth's Castle (NH64NE 8). It measures 7 1/2" in length overall - the blade being 3 1/4" long x 1 1/8" broad at base; and the socket 4 1/4" long. It can be dated to late medieval times.
