NLO: Point of Stoer [name: NC 022 356].
The name and location assigned to this record are derived from the location cited by Larn and Larn. Larn and Larn place the loss on Glas Leach Island, and Whittaker on Glas Leac Island, in both cases at Lochinver. This island is not noted on the 1998 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map, but is probably to be equated with Soyea Island [name centred NC 048 220].
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 3 September 2002.
R and B Larn 1998; I G Whittaker 1998.
