ND38SW 8004 unlocated
NLO: Pentland Firth [name centred ND 35 81].
Larn and Larn assign this loss to the Pentland Firth but cite no reason for doing so. Whittaker notes the loss of a slate-laden vessel of the same name on the E side of Coldingham Bay, Berwickshire, also on 20 November 1807.
The map sheet assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. It may fall within the quasi-administrative area defined as Maritime - Orkney.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 10 September 2002.
R and B Larn 1998; I G Whittaker 1998.
