Full Description

At ND 1075 2381 are the remains of a hut circle, surviving as a platform levelled up on, and cut back into a steepish SW-facing slope. It measures some 16.0m NW-SE by 10.0m transversely; the latter measurement, however, is very approximate due to the poor definition of the back scarp. There has probably been an entrance in the SE. There are one or two heaps of contemporary stone clearance nearby.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (J M) 23 November 1982.

The structure is represented by a platform levelled into the slope, roughly 16 x 10 m, with a definite apron downslope but poorly defined at the back. To the north-west of the platform there are three small cairns within 50 m and a fourth at a distance of 130 m. <1>

Note; site not visible on aerial photography (TB 2/10/24)
