The roof is clad in black corrigated iron, with a metal ridgeline and black traditional style metal guttering and downpipes. The extention has traditiaonal Scottish slate and a tiled ridgeline. It has two stone stacks, the west end on the original site of the gable, the east end stack ajoins/shared with UID 14.
The building has three four light sash windows in white wooden frames.
To the lane is a red wooden period double door with a modern handle, (that is out of character with the building). There is a single low doorstep to building.
