Full Description

A cottage, with an exrensive pathed and enclosed garden to the east, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Elginshire 1874, sheet xxix). The 2nd edition OS map shows two small extensions have been built against the western and northern facades and the garden enclosures have altered.

The house has been the subject of a planning application (BS-04-276) to renovate and extend the structure. A photographic record has been taken prior to these works and is held in Assoc Docs. The photographs were taken by Andrew Anderson.
