Diaries of the Thomsons who were teachers at the school for over 20 years to 1900 - HAW 11/2004
Two storey 3 bay schoolhouse with a porch to the centre and 2 piended dormers in the outer bays. The former school sits at right angles and extends for 3 bays to form the L-plan. The building is harled with a slate roof.
