Full Description
Cultivation remains to the east of the Allt Na Peighinn, Strath, Skye.
On the E side of the Allt na Peighinn at a height of 105m OD is a rectangular stone-built enclosure (see MHG6260) which lies amongst rig cultivation. The site is visible from Boreraig path. Not visited. Noted by CS, 3 April 1990. <1>
The site was noted as a small patch of lazy bed cultivation, though not commented upon further, by M Wildgoose during a survey in 1999 in advance of a proposed woodland creation scheme. <2>
The remains are visible in vertical aerial photography. <3>
