This building and adjacent enclosure are situated on the flat crest of a heather- and grass-covered ridge. The building, which has three compartments, measures 18.3m from N to S by 4.5m transversely within a stony bank spread to 1.2m in thickness and 0.3m in height. The S compartment is slightly dished and may have been a byre; a small subrectangular hut overlies the interior of the N compartment. The entrance to the building may have been on the E, opening out into a squarish enclosure which abuts the E side of the building.
