This building, which is levelled into the S side of a grassy knoll to the SE of Garvoult, measures 5m from ENE to WSW by 2.7m transversely within coursed-rubble footings 0.8m in thickness and 0.4m in height. The entrance is in the SSE side, and a drystone wall is butted on at both ends, forming part of the enclosure around the crofting settlement to the N. The building is depicted as roofed on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, 1907, sheet xcvi).
