On the NW side of Meall Daimh below an enscarpment close to an area of tumbled rock, at a height of 320m above OD are the tumbled remains of two twin-celled shielings.
Shieling A is aligned N-S and is of the figure of eight type, the southern cell measures 2.7m in diameter, the northern cell 4.3m in diame ter, both have walls 0.3m thick. An off centre creep joins the two cells.
Shieling B is of the sub-rectangular twin-celled type and is aligned E-W. The eastern cell measures 3.5m N-S by 2.4m E-W. The western cell 3.5m N-S by 4.8m E-W. Wall thickness varies from 0.75m to 1.00m. An entrance survives in the NW corner of the larger cell and the creep joins the two cells together.
