Full Description
This GR is to the lower terrace S of the Castle. First ed OS shows before the castle was extended. At this stage there ws a summer house (circular) in the centre, surrounded by circular decorative beds. There was another series of beds in concentric ring designs to the W. By the 2nd ed these beds and summer house appear to have gone. Fountains are marked on the upper terrace - HAW 12/2002
